Lorin Ranier is NASCAR’s version of a talent scout, frequenting short track venues across America and working to help up-and-coming drivers break into the national series. “I’ve helped a lot of young guys move up in the sport going all the way back to Davey Allison,” says Ranier. “Over the years, I have worked with Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, and as of late, Reed Sorenson and Kyle Larson. I’ve helped a lot of young guys.”
Throughout the past 29 years, Tom Baker has successfully and passionately served the motorsports community in several capacities, including track promoter, writer, broadcaster, marketing and public relations specialist, performance coach and mentor for young racers and media.
