HICKORY, N.C. March 5, 2020 – Race Face Tel-Med has signed on as the title and presenting partner for the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Racing Tour event at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, North Carolina on March 21st, 2020. The event is being billed as the Race Face Tel-Med 300, featuring both the late model stock cars and the super late models competing at the historic track known as the “Birthplace of NASCAR Stars”.
Rod Wortham, founder and CEO of Race Face Brand Development the parent company for Race Face Tel-Med, is excited to be partnering with the Carolinas’ region’s top series for pavement late models. “We are really looking forward to becoming a part of the history and the excitement that both Hickory Motor Speedway and the CARS Tour bring to this event. So many drivers have launched their careers at Hickory Motor Speedway, and the CARS Tour combines younger racers gaining experience for a future opportunity in NASCAR with veteran racers who are among the very best late model racers in the nation. The commonality is that all families need as much help with healthcare as they can get these days, and we at Race Face Tel-Med offer family discount plans that can save big money not just on care, but on prescriptions, dental, vision and more, for less than $20 per month. Telemedicine can be helpful to everyone, but especially racers and their families who tend to travel a lot. If someone becomes ill, it helps them connect with a licensed physician 24/7, get them diagnosed and get medicine on the way to the local pharmacy closest to where they are at that time, helping them avoid long lines in emergency rooms or urgent care facilities in situations where there really is no need for that. We have seen great savings in our own lives and we are excited to let all of our friends in the racing community enjoy the savings as well.”
The CARS sanctioning body, with a desire to create a viable option for quality pavement racing throughout the Carolinas and beyond, operates the dual division Solid Rock Carriers CARS Racing Tour. Featuring both super late models and late model stock cars competing on the same night at the same track, the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Racing Tour is the first series of its kind to host two premier divisions under the same banner, at the same track and as part of the same event.
The Solid Rock Carriers Cars Racing Tour Race Face Tel-Med 300 takes place on Saturday, March 21st at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, North Carolina. It will be broadcast live via pay-per-view on CARSTour.TV for those who cannot make it to the track.
